Questions to Ask Before Hiring an AI Film Production Studio

Questions to Ask Before Hiring an AI Film Production Studio için aydınlık, ultra gerçekçi ve sinematik görsel

A flashy showreel isn’t enough information to hire an AI film production studio. Here’s what’s actually worth asking before you commit a budget — and when a DIY tool might genuinely be enough instead.

Ask to see full case studies, not just clips

A 10-second highlight tells you almost nothing about process. Ask to see a complete project breakdown — brief, approach, challenges, outcome — the way we walk through St. Nicholas and Zarafel. If a studio can’t show that, be cautious.

Ask how character and world consistency is handled

This is the technical core of AI film production, and a studio that can’t clearly describe locking a reference and reviewing generations against it probably hasn’t solved it — or hasn’t had to, because their work has been simpler than what you’re planning.

Ask for a real timeline and price range

“It depends” is a fair first answer, but a studio should be able to follow it with real numbers once they know your scene count and accuracy requirements — the way we do on our pricing page. A refusal to discuss numbers at all is a signal worth noticing.

Ask what’s still done by hand

Editing, color grading, sound design and creative direction should be human decisions applied to AI-generated material, not an afterthought. Ask specifically what a human is deciding versus what the tool is generating.

When a DIY tool is genuinely enough

If your project is a single short clip with no character continuity requirement and no accuracy stakes, a subscription tool used directly might be all you need. AI film production earns its cost on multi-scene, character-consistent, or historically/brand-sensitive work — not on every project. Tell us about yours and we’ll tell you honestly which category it’s in.
