Terms of Use
Last updated: 14 October 2026
These Terms of Use govern the use of the content and functions offered through the www.leopati.com domain and its language versions (the “Site”). Anyone who visits the Site, uses its forms or contacts Leopati through it (the “User”) is deemed to have read and accepted these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Site.
1. Parties and scope
The Site is operated by Leopati Agency (“Leopati”), an AI agency founded by Güneş Polater, based in Ankara, Türkiye, and operating as a sole proprietorship. These terms concern the use of the Site only. A production relationship between Leopati and a client is governed by the written proposal and contract made separately between the parties; where these terms and a written contract conflict, the written contract prevails.
2. Purpose of the Site and nature of the services
The Site is published to present Leopati’s services in AI film, music video, book-to-film, documentary, visual effects and commercial production, its completed projects, and informative content on those fields.
Nothing on the Site constitutes a binding offer or undertaking. The scope, schedule, fee and delivery terms of a service are assessed for each project individually and are set only in the proposal Leopati issues in writing and the contract the parties accept. Timelines, examples and methods described on the Site are general information and may differ from project to project.
3. Intellectual and industrial property
All text, images, videos, audio, graphics, design, interface, software, data arrangement, trademarks, logos and the domain name on the Site belong, unless expressly stated otherwise, to Leopati or to rights holders who have licensed them to Leopati, and are protected under Law No. 5846 on Intellectual and Artistic Works, Law No. 6769 on Industrial Property and other applicable legislation.
The User may view the Site’s content for personal, non-commercial information only. Without Leopati’s prior written permission, the content may not be copied, reproduced, altered, republished, sold, used in another work or shared with its source concealed, in whole or in part. Short quotations that credit the source and link to the relevant page, and the ordinary indexing activity of search engines and answer engines, fall outside this prohibition.
In the projects shown in the portfolio, the names, trademarks, music, works and images belonging to artists, producers, record labels, brands and other rights holders remain the property of those rights holders and appear on the Site solely to present the project.
4. Client projects and delivered work
The usage rights, licence scope, term, media and transfer of work produced for a project and delivered to the client are set in the written contract between the parties. Unless that contract provides otherwise, drafts, alternative versions, working files, methods, workflows and production infrastructure that arise during production but are not part of the delivered work remain with Leopati.
The client confirms that it holds the necessary rights and permissions in all material it provides to Leopati for inclusion in a project, including music, scripts, images, video, brand elements and a person’s likeness or voice.
5. Publication of projects in the portfolio and promotional rights
Leopati has the right to publish the projects it produces. Accordingly, Leopati may publish and cite as a reference the projects it produces — together with their footage, clips, stills, trailers and images of the production process, the name of the project and the names of the client and, where applicable, the artist — on its own website, in its portfolio, in its showreel, on its social media accounts and video platform channels, in press and promotional materials and presentations, and in festival, competition and award submissions.
This right continues after delivery of the project, without limit of time or territory. Where the parties have agreed otherwise in writing — for example through a non-disclosure agreement, a release-date restriction or a specific provision that certain material is not to be shown — that arrangement applies. Leopati considers in good faith any written request a client makes on reasonable grounds.
6. Statement on AI production
Leopati’s projects are produced with artificial intelligence tools under human direction. AI-generated images and videos published on the Site are clearly labelled; the labelling method is explained on the “AI labelling” page. Images in the portfolio are not intended to document real people, places or events unless the relevant project page states otherwise.
7. Questions, answers and client reviews
The Site lets visitors ask questions about projects and services, and lets clients invited by Leopati write reviews.
- Questions: Submitted questions are reviewed by Leopati. Questions it considers suitable may be published on the Site with their answer and without the name of the person who asked. Leopati reserves the right not to answer or publish a question, to edit it for spelling and clarity, or to remove it.
- Client reviews: Reviews can be written only through the single-use invitation link Leopati sends for the relevant project. A review is published with the consent of its author, signed with the organisation, job title or name they provide. Leopati does not alter the meaning of a review; it may correct spelling and, where needed, publish a translation.
- Licence: The User grants Leopati a free, non-exclusive licence, unlimited in territory, to publish, reproduce and translate the submitted question or review on the Site, in Leopati’s promotional materials and on its social media accounts.
- Removal: The author of a question or review may ask at any time for it to be removed by writing to agency@leopati.com.
- Responsibility: The sender is responsible for the lawfulness of what is submitted. Insults, misleading statements, content that infringes third-party rights, advertising and unsolicited messages are not published.
8. Acceptable use
The User agrees to use the Site lawfully and in accordance with these terms. The following are prohibited:
- Attempting to endanger the security, integrity or availability of the Site or its infrastructure, or to gain unauthorised access.
- Filling in forms with automated tools, with false information or on behalf of someone else; sending unsolicited bulk messages.
- Copying works from the portfolio and presenting them as the work of another person or organisation; wrongly creating the impression of an affiliation with Leopati.
- Downloading and republishing images or videos from the Site, or using them commercially, without the permission of the rights holders.
- Using the Site in a way that infringes the personality rights, intellectual property rights or personal data of third parties.
Where it identifies use contrary to these rules, Leopati reserves the right to restrict access and to pursue legal remedies.
9. Third-party links and embedded content
The Site may contain links to third-party websites and embedded content served through video platforms. The content, availability and data practices of those sites and services are the responsibility of their providers; Leopati has no control over them.
10. Informative content and tools
The guides, frequently asked questions and free tools on the Site are provided for general information. They are not legal, financial or technical advice and do not guarantee any particular result. The results the tools produce are approximations and are not binding.
11. Limitation of liability
Leopati takes reasonable care to keep the Site uninterrupted, accurate and current, but does not guarantee it. The Site is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, Leopati is not liable for the Site being unavailable, for decisions taken in reliance on its content, for failures originating in third-party services, or for indirect loss arising from use of the Site. This provision does not cover intent or gross negligence, nor liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Protection of personal data
Detailed information on the personal data processed through the Site is given on the Privacy Policy, Personal Data Notice (KVKK) and Cookie Policy pages. Those texts form an integral part of these Terms of Use.
13. Changes
Leopati may update these terms when it considers it necessary. The current text takes effect on publication and the “Last updated” date at the top of the page changes accordingly. Continuing to use the Site means that you accept the current terms.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The Courts and Enforcement Offices of Ankara have jurisdiction over disputes arising from them. The statutory rights and remedies of users who qualify as consumers are reserved.
