How Leopati Labels AI-Generated Work

Leopati’s films, music videos and stills are generated with AI tools and directed by a person. We state this openly and in a form machines can read: on the page, inside the image files, in the page’s structured data and on YouTube. Production records are kept for every project and are shared on request.

The short version

Is Leopati’s work AI-generated?

Yes. The portfolio images and videos on this site are produced with generative AI tools. Nothing here is presented as camera footage.

Two projects are different, and are labelled differently. Zarafel and Blair Witch are live-action films in which some scenes are AI sequences produced by Leopati. On those pages the statement reads “AI sequences”, and the video is declared as a composite of live action and AI-generated media.

What does “directed by a person” mean?

A generator does not decide what a film is. On every Leopati project these decisions are made by the director:

How is AI-generated work labelled on this site?

  1. On the page. Each project page carries one statement under its cover — “AI generated”, or “AI sequences” for the two live-action films — and the cover and video posters carry a badge. The badge is part of the web page; it is not burned into the picture.
  2. In the image file. Portfolio image files carry the IPTC Digital Source Type value trainedAlgorithmicMedia in their XMP metadata. This is the field Google and other services read to recognise AI-generated images. Resized and WebP versions carry it too.
  3. In structured data. On project pages, the video and image entries in the schema.org data declare digitalSourceType: generated media for AI-made work, composite for the two live-action films.
  4. Content Credentials. Where the tool that generated an image attached Content Credentials (C2PA), the original file is kept byte for byte, so that record stays intact.
  5. On YouTube. Our films and music videos on YouTube are published with YouTube’s “altered or synthetic content” disclosure switched on.

How can you check it yourself?

Can Leopati provide production records?

Yes. For each project we keep the working record of how it was made: reference and design material, the generated shots, including those that were not used, the edit project and the dates of the work. These records are shared on request with the project’s client, and with broadcasters, festivals, platforms or rights holders that have a legitimate reason to verify how a piece was produced. Ask through the contact page and name the project.

Are these labels a certificate?

No. They are our own statement about how the work was made, written in the formats that browsers, search engines and AI assistants read. They are not a third-party verification and not the result of an AI-detection test. Whether a search engine shows an “AI generated” label next to an image is that search engine’s decision. What we can add to our statement is evidence: the production records above.

What do the labels not cover?

A label describes how a picture was produced. It does not change who holds the rights. Client-supplied material, artists’ names and likenesses, brand assets, music and live-action footage remain subject to their own agreements and permissions.

Can I use an image or a video from this site?

Ask first. Send the address of the image or video, the intended use, the territory, the medium and the duration through the contact page. Commercial use, redistribution or modified versions need permission in advance.

Quick answers

Does Leopati use AI to make its films and music videos?

Yes. Leopati’s films, music videos and stills are generated with AI tools under the direction of Güneş Polater, and are labelled as AI-generated on the page, in the image files, in structured data and on YouTube.

How can I tell that a Leopati image is AI-generated?

Each project page states it under the cover. The image file itself carries the IPTC Digital Source Type “trainedAlgorithmicMedia”, and the page’s schema.org data declares digitalSourceType.

Which Leopati projects are not fully AI-generated?

Zarafel and Blair Witch. Both are live-action films in which some scenes are AI sequences produced by Leopati; they are labelled as AI sequences and as composite work.

Can Leopati prove how a project was made?

Yes. Production records are kept for every project and are shared on request with the client and with broadcasters, festivals, platforms or rights holders that need to verify the production.

Is the “AI generated” label an official certificate?

No. It is Leopati’s own declaration in machine-readable form, backed by production records on request. It is not a third-party certification.
