KING: Producing a Dark, Urban AI Music Video for DJ Orcun & Sachamax

KING is a cinematic AI music video produced for DJ Orcun and Sachamax, built around a dark, rain-soaked urban world, a black Range Rover and two artists whose likeness had to stay recognizable across every scene. Here’s what that actually required.

The creative challenge: two artists, one consistent world

KING’s brief called for a specific mood — dark, confident, rap-driven, nighttime city — carried by two artists rather than one. The creative challenge was preserving both artists’ facial features, clothing and accessories across multiple cinematic scenes, while the rainy city atmosphere, the dark aesthetic and a single black Range Rover stayed coherent across every camera angle and sequence.

A scene-by-scene AI production workflow

The project was developed scene by scene: character references, environments and visual compositions were designed before any frame was generated, not improvised scene-to-scene. That ordering matters — deciding what the world and the characters look like before generation starts is what keeps a rainy street in scene one and a rainy street in scene four feeling like the same city rather than two different generic “urban night” prompts.

The selected scenes were then turned into motion and refined through professional editing, transitions and music synchronization — the same process behind every AI music video we produce, regardless of genre.

The recurring motif: one car, one atmosphere

A black Range Rover appears across KING’s scenes as a visual anchor — a small, deliberate consistency choice that does a lot of work. A single recurring object, held visually identical across every appearance, gives an audience something concrete to track between otherwise-different environments, and it’s a technique that transfers directly to brand and commercial AI video production, where a product or a logo needs the same treatment.

Color grading for a dark, Hollywood-inspired look

KING’s finishing pass — cinematic color grading and atmosphere refinement — is what turns technically-consistent AI generations into a video that actually looks and feels like a produced piece rather than a stitched-together set of clips. Grading is where the “dark rap aesthetic” the brief called for actually gets locked in, applied consistently across every scene rather than left to whatever each generation happened to produce.
