- Released work, not tests. Finished films with a title, a client or artist, a running time and a release — not a reel of unrelated shots.
- A named director. Someone is accountable for the concept, the shot list and the edit.
- Continuity. The same character, wardrobe and light from the first shot to the last. This is where generated work most often fails.
- Sound and finishing. Edit, grade, sound design and delivery formats, done to the same standard as a filmed production.

Is a film made with AI a professional film?
