The need
The studio’s own original film: with no client brief, to carry one character and one world through a narrative of more than five minutes.
The hard part
Keeping the same face, costume and accumulating physical damage across shots generated independently, and bringing footage from different models under one cold palette.

MIDIVOXX Pearl In The Shell

A man’s life passes in black and white, the shore, the house, the suit, the dinner table, until music turns it to colour and carries him to the stage.

The need
MIDIVOXX needed an official music video for its single "Pearl In The Shell" that turns the song into a story, one man's everyday life in monochrome and the imagined life the music opens up…
The hard part
Generative models have no natural visual memory between shots; across the monochrome and colour worlds the man's face and the look of each scene could drift from one shot to…

Blair Witch

A woman runs through a fog-bound pine forest. Every time she looks back, the long-haired figure in the pale dress is closer.

The need
Give a live-action horror film the sequences it could not shoot on set: the figure, the transformations and the supernatural marks, made to sit inside the film’s own footage.

How a project runs

Five stages, and what you approve at each

Generative models keep no memory of the previous shot. Left to a prompt, a face drifts and six scenes read as six unrelated clips. So continuity is planned before anything is generated: the character is built and locked first, each environment is made as its own element, and only then is the shot assembled and animated.

  1. 01

    Brief

We read the track, script or brand brief and agree on scope, format and schedule.

You approve: the scope and the written proposal.

  2. 02

    Concept

A treatment sets the story, the scenes and the visual direction.

    You approve: the treatment.

  3. 03

    Look development

Characters, worlds and the camera language are designed and locked.

You approve: the character and the look.

  4. 04

    Production

Shots are generated, selected and animated scene by scene, checked against the locked references.

    You review: the rough cut.

  5. 05

    Edit and delivery

Edit, colour, sound and finishing, then export in the formats the release needs.

    You approve: the final master.

How AI is used

Directed by people, generated with AI, and labelled as such

  • Human direction: story, casting of the character, framing, cut and grade are decisions made by the director, not by a model.
  • Quality control: every shot is checked against the locked character, costume, light and location before it enters the cut; shots that drift are regenerated or reworked.
  • Permissions: a real person’s likeness or voice, music and brand material are used only with the permission of whoever holds the rights.
  • Labelling: AI-generated images and videos on this site are marked as such. How we label our work

Before a project

Questions clients ask first

What should I send to start working with Leopati?

The kind of project, the track, script or brand brief if there is one, the target release date and the platforms the video will run on are enough to start. Reference images and example videos speed things up.

How is the budget set for an AI production?

The budget is set for each project individually; there is no price list on the site. Runtime, the number of scenes and characters, continuity needs, integration with live-action footage and delivery formats all affect it. Leopati issues a written proposal after reading the brief.

What affects the delivery time?

Delivery time depends on the length of the video, the number of scenes and characters, how quickly approval rounds come back, and the delivery formats. The production time of each project is stated on its own project page.

Can live-action footage and AI imagery be used together?

Yes. AI sequences are matched to the camera, light and grade of the live-action footage and cut into the film. The Blair Witch and Zarafel projects are examples of this work.

How are character and product consistency controlled?

The character’s appearance is defined with references and locked before production. Every shot is checked for continuity of face, costume, light and location; shots that do not match are regenerated or reworked.

At which stages are revisions made?

Revisions are made at the approval points: the treatment, the look and the rough cut. Feedback given early is faster and less costly than a change to finished footage.

Which video formats are delivered?

The formats the release needs are delivered: a horizontal main master and, where agreed, vertical and square versions. Resolution and file format are stated in the proposal.

How is the scope of usage rights set?

Usage rights are set in the written contract between the parties, which states the media, term and territory. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, Leopati may publish the projects it produces in its portfolio.
